i have been playing around on acid pro for about 2 years mixing about 2gb of samples together and making some pretty awesome songs which i rekon would be worthy of going on a ministry CD. only problem is im not allowd to sell my music because the samples aren't mine. can anyone tell me what software/ hardware would be essentail or usefull for making my own loops, guitar riffs/piano riffs, voice recording, mixing and watever else needs to be done to make quality techno music. Im no rookie when it comes to music and I actually want to have everything done professionally so if you're a pro techno musician tell me exactly what you would do to start from scratch so i can too!! any help would be really awesome..thanks!
Sorry, but why would anybody want to buy Techno music

This company is in the greater Toronto area. It can cover all the bases in terms of music production, recording, composing, arranging, MIDI programming, publishing and artist development. The producer is highly intuitive, conscientious, and proficient within all musical genres. The studio's(home based) equipment is the best within the industry standard. The company needs to attract clients/artists who actually have a budget and real business plan. I GRACIOUSLY THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.
The best way is by reputation. I would suggest doing a few pro-bono to make a reel unless you have one already. Then go to the clubs, music stations, etc and give people demos. You should have a website that people can go to that showcases what you are promoting. A lot of musicians/groups are struggling with no budget or business plan so in order to attract brand name clients, you'll have to became a name brand. Of course, if someone is good, their band will have followers. I've produced a dozen music videos and 5000+ hours of streaming video.
Best of luck!

I'm trying to decide on an mp3 to buy, and wonder if I should get an iPod because of iTunes. Is iTunes a good choice as a place to buy and download music? Are there any other online music download stores out there with a huge range in music? Or is iTunes really the best [and is it the cheapest]?
I don't own an iPod yet, just wondering if I should get one.
iTunes is awesome I just use it for the ease of use if I use like Amazon or Rhapsody I need to install that player and have iTunes and pay monthly and idk if I can put those songs in iTunes and I just don't want to deal with that I'd rather pay 99 cents for assurance then 79 cents and being hopeful

She was the driving force behind his rise from a starving artist to the #1 living artist of his time and brought him to being a very rich man. Obscenely rich…he bought castles.
Question.
I want to rise up as a white girl rapper…slash..comedian. How do I market myself…what outlets…genius ideas…any help to reach my goal? I am clueless when it comes to making myself seem like the shnizzles sizzle! If you know what I mean. I'm a local act, who everybody clammors for my CD's and wants my t-shirts…but I want to be hot shnizzle on a flaming stick! I know I can sell my ringtones…but what else? How can I "get big"?
I'm getting into this because I'm good and I'm funny!
I am asking about marketing genuis. That's how Gala Dali got in the conversation!
I am funny and a good rapper. I have my own way of saying things. I don't copy current artists. I am more old school rap. And I do novelty songs. When I was a child I loved the stories and funny ppl in Jim Croce's songs. Also I loved Jim Stafford and Ray Stevens. That is my starting point. Also I have a base in 70's rock and roll, as well as, country music. And I love reggae beats!
If you're getting into music and comedy just to get rich and famous, then don't bother. If you have a real interest in those things, though, think about who your favorite performers are…use that as a starting point, but don't copy them. Find out what about them inspires you and think about what you think is missing from their art. Go with that that and see where that takes you. You can be inspired by something and still be completely original after diligently working on your art.
Also, what does Dali have to do with this? BTW do you know he ate his wife's fecal matter?
