  • Can you really make much money selling music on itunes?

Posted by admin on January 19th, 2009 and filed under selling music | 1 Comment »

Everyone suggests that I do this, but I'm skeptical. Just how does this work, that someone would be impelled to go to your itunes spot, listen to some music, and buy some cuts? Do you know anyone who has made money this way? How, then, would you promote the music?

You can make good money on itunes depeding on how good you are. If you play rock you are gunna make more money than someone who plays jazz or blues due to the teenages, they tend to buy rock, metal, hip-hop, punk, and indie, that sort of thing. A very good way to promote your music is myspace and even no name bands get looked at a lot more than you would think.
